Jasmine Tan

About Me:

Education & Training

As an immigrant who grew up navigating a new language, culture, and educational environment, Jasmine understood how meaningful it can be for young people to have someone who supports and understands their experiences. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Psychology, she continued to develop her passion for youth development through her research experience in child and family development, tutoring students of different age groups, supporting children through her internship with SFUSD, and working with youth and families through the Community Youth Center and parenting workshops. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to serving the Asian immigrant community and creating supportive spaces where young people and families feel welcomed, understood, and empowered. At Cameron House, she’s excited to give back to the community, build meaningful relationships with youth, and help them develop the confidence, skills, and support they need to grow and thrive.
