Ashley Cheng is a strategic operations leader with experience in the government sector and nonprofit sector. She currently is an Executive Director of an organization based in San Francisco’s Chinatown dedicated to empowering underserved Asian‑American families through direct workforce development and placement, bilingual youth development initiatives, financial education workshops, and after‑school tutoring programs. She has strong experience in governance, fiscal oversight, and stakeholder engagement, Ashley brings both a grounded connection to the community and a proven track record in nonprofit leadership.
She is deeply motivated to join the Cameron House board because she shares its mission of empowering the San Francisco Chinese community through family‑centered services due to her own experience as an immigrant teenager in the US. Ashley hopes to contribute her expertise in strategic planning, community outreach, and fundraising to help ensure Cameron House continues its long legacy (dating back to 1874) of serving generations in Chinatown with integrity and impact.
