What drew you to Cameron House?

What drew me to Cameron House was the team’s genuine passion for creating meaningful change and making a lasting impact within the Chinese community. I was also inspired by their vision—to cultivate a safe and healthy environment where individuals can learn, heal, and thrive. My background includes working with an organization committed to empowering the next generation of Asian American leaders through community building. Cameron House’s mission deeply resonates with me, as their family-centered programs serve the Asian community across all generations—from children to elders—fostering connection, growth, and resilience.

What’s been your favorite part of working for Cameron House so far?

My favorite part of working at Cameron House has been the incredible sense of teamwork and efficiency. Everyone here is dedicated to finding the most effective ways to accomplish their tasks, always ensuring that the work is both high-quality and completed in a timely manner. There’s a shared commitment to simplicity in how we approach projects, making sure everyone stays aligned and on the same page. I truly appreciate how the team encourages open communication—whether it’s asking questions or seeking assistance, there’s always support to help us work. It’s a collaborative environment that inspires growth and success every day.

What are you most looking forward to in the next several months?

In the next several months, I’m most looking forward to deepening my understanding of Cameron House—its programs, culture, and community impact. I’m excited to build meaningful relationships with the team and the people we serve, and to explore how my skills and contributions can support and strengthen the organization’s mission. I’m especially eager to see how my work can make a positive impact in the lives of those connected to Cameron House.
