Cameron House is gathering for its third annual Picnic in the Park on Sunday, June 22, from 11AM to 3PM at Mountain Lake Park in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond District.
This year’s picnic marks an exciting moment—the official launch of Friends of Cameron House (FoCH), a new initiative created in partnership with Cameron House NextGen. It’s a celebration of community, connection, and the next generation of leaders carrying forward the Cameron House legacy.
The event is free and open to all. Guests enjoy:
- 🍉 Snacks and refreshments
- 🧺 Potluck-style picnic – folks are welcome to bring their own dishes to share
- 🪁 Games and activities for all ages
- 🎁 Fun prizes and throwback vibes
- 🌞 A sunny day in the park to relax, reconnect, and recharge
Families, alumni, neighbors, and newcomers are all invited to come hang out, share a meal, and see what’s happening at Cameron House. Whether staying for 20 minutes or a few hours, everyone is welcome to stop by and be part of the joy.
Mountain Lake Park offers something for everyone—playgrounds, basketball and pickleball courts (reserve in advance), walking trails, a dog-friendly area, and easy access to local favorites on Clement Street. Best park entrance for the picnic: 9th Ave & Lake St.
Cameron House continues to celebrate 150+ years of community, service, and leadership. This picnic is just one way we gather, grow, and move forward—together.
