What drew you to Cameron House?
I was drawn to work at Cameron House because it has always been a familiar and respected presence in my life growing up. Even though I wasn’t personally part of the program, I consistently heard great things about its strong commitment to supporting youth and strengthening the community. Being able to now contribute to an organization I’ve long admired feels both meaningful and full circle.
What’s been your favorite part of working for Cameron House so far?
My favorite part of working at Cameron House so far has been building meaningful relationships with the youth and watching them grow more confident in themselves. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a supportive community that truly prioritizes belonging and opportunity. Being surrounded by a team that is passionate about making a positive impact makes the work even more meaningful.
What are you most looking forward to in the next several months?
In the next several months, I’m most looking forward to continuing to build and strengthen our middle and high school programs. I’m excited about creating more opportunities for these students to explore new interests, develop new skills, and step into leadership roles. It’s meaningful to help shape spaces where they feel challenged, empowered, and prepared to grow into confident leaders within their communities.
Welcome aboard, Briana!
