A Warm Reunion for Our Alumni & Community
Join us for Harvest Homecoming, a casual, come-as-you-are gathering where alumni from all Cameron House programs and services are invited to reconnect, catch up, and celebrate our shared history. Come and go as you please within the event window — we’ll have comfort food and drinks ready for you.
The stage will be open for alumni to share their gifts — music, poetry, storytelling, or talents — as we celebrate the community that continues to grow from our strong Cameron House roots. We’re working on setting up a mah jong tournament for some spirited friendly competition.
We can’t wait to welcome you home for this meaningful and joy-filled gathering! 💛 Help us make sure we have enough food and seats to accommodate all our guests!

If you’re really super duper excited to buy market items only, send dried noodles, 2lb or 5lb bags of white rice, or toilet paper to Cameron House, Attn: Kim Lan Grout, c/o Harvest Market Pantry, 920 Sacramento St., San Francisco, CA 94108. These items are most requested and least likely to make a big mess in shipping.
Admission into the reunion is itself an act of service. Please bring a grocery bag filled with Asian culturally-appropriate, unexpired, unopened, shelf-stable foods. Your gift will stock our Harvest Market Pantry — a discreet, dignified, and free market from which our low income social services and youth program families can “shop” throughout December.
We recommended filling your bag with some of the following items. This list is meant to provide an idea of what is needed and is not an exhaustive list. Please note that we cannot accommodate items in bulk. Items should be sized for a single family and manageable for a person to carry home, for example.
Examples of recommended admission groceries to bring:
Sauces & seasonings: soy, oyster sauce, and chili sauce; salt; black pepper; sesame oil; rice vinegar; white and palm sugars; corn starch; rice and glutinous rice flours
Snacks & beverages: seaweed sheets, tea bags, rice crackers, ground coffee, chips, candy
Soup and noodles: instant ramen meals; soup or broth bases (miso, herbal, etc.); bouillon; or soup concentrates; dried rice, egg, or buckwheat noodles
Cooking oils: vegetable, olive, avocado oil, and canola
Gift Cards to Target, Safeway, Lucky, and Walmart (increments of $20 preferred). Clipper cards to use on BART or MUNI are also needed.
Household & personal care: toilet paper; facial tissue; paper towels; garbage bags (all sizes); shampoo, conditioner, body wash; toothbrushes, toothpaste; hand soap and sanitizer; face masks; feminine hygiene products
