Board of Directors

The Board of Directors collectively governs and provides oversight to the organization to ensure that the community’s interests are represented; this includes determining our mission and purpose, strategies, policies, and priorities. The Board has a role in monitoring program performance and its impact. The Board oversees compliance with laws and regulations, the fulfillment of contractual obligations, safeguarding assets, and ensuring maximum use of our resources. The board is also responsible for the financial health of the organization, selecting, evaluating, and if needed, terminating the Executive Director, approving fundraising strategies, and monitoring its effectiveness.
