Friday Night Club

Serving San Francisco’s Chinatown community and beyond for over 50 years

Our Friday Night Club program is a faith-based youth program that provides a safe environment where youth can form lasting friendships, develop their leadership skills, engage in community service and explore different visual and performing arts. Our program is guided by our 4-Square program which promotes mental, physical, social and spiritual growth.

Groups are led by our Youth Development Leaders, (aka Club Leaders) who are young adults volunteers.  They take their time to lead groups by providing near-peer mentoring, the planning of activities, service projects, fellowships and other enriching activities. Groups are split by age and gender, with co-ed groups in the 11th and 12th grades.

Friday Night Club Vision Statement

A welcome and safe environment where youth build lifelong connections through leadership development and community stewardship.

Program Hours & Cost

Our Friday Night Club program is a year-round program for 6th-12th grade youth. During the school year (August – May) our program runs from 7pm – 10pm and in the summer (June-July) the program runs from 6pm – 9:30pm with dinner beginning at 6pm.

There is no cost to join Friday Night Club, but all participants must have an updated registration form on file.   Some activities will have costs (admission fee, transportation, cost of supplies, etc.) that each participant will be responsible for and they will be notified by their leader in advance.   When dinner is provided in June and July, there is a $1-2 suggested donation.
