Our Impact: 2015

  • We provided $105,381 in financial aid to families in need for youth related services and programs
  • We distributed 12,000 bags of food – that’s 354,588 lbs. of food, valued at $531,159 – to extremely-low income families through our Food Pantry
  • We served 10,518 meals at Cameron House
  •  84% of our Social Service clients reside outside of Chinatown and travel to Cameron House for culturally appropriate care
  • 76 teenage volunteers attended eight weeks of leadership training
  • Counseling in San Francisco can cost up to $150 /$200 per hour 1; at Cameron House, our fees range from $0 to $40 maximum
  • In one year, our clients receive at least 1,500 hours of counseling; mental health services are still seen as a stigma in the community
